PRIM&R's membership brings together dedicated professionals from across the research enterprise, including federal and state agencies, public and private colleges and universities, industry, pharmaceutical organizations, and more. Their expertise spans all aspects of biomedical and behavioral research, including human research protection programs (HRPPs), institutional review boards (IRBs), animal care and use programs, and institutional animal care and use committees (IACUCs).
Our community represents more than 1,000 institutions across more than 40 countries, creating a vibrant professional network where members can connect, collaborate, and find a professional home.
An individual membership is $315 per year, and much of what members use most, including every PRIM&R webinar and Federal Public Policy Briefing, is free with membership.

Membership Resources
Dues Discount Program
PRIM&R works to keep cost from standing in the way of membership. Through the Dues Discount Program, current and prospective members can apply for reduced dues. Complete the Dues Discount Application and return it to membership@primr.org.
Membership Transfer Form
Every membership is transferable. Use the Membership Transfer Form to move the remaining months of a membership to a colleague, free of charge.
