PRIM&R On Demand

FAQ: PRIM&R On Demand Recorded Programs

The cost is $650 for a PRIM&R member or $849 for a nonmember (the membership status of the person coordinating the purchase will determine the cost). This cost covers 90-day access for any size group from the same institutional location.

Once you purchase a workshop, PRIM&R staff will reach out with instructions about giving access to others from your institutional location.

No; as long as everyone is affiliated with the same institutional location (e.g., attendees are employees of UCLA, but not other campuses in the UC system), there are no limits.

Information about Certified IRB Professional (CIP®) and Certified Professional in IACUC Administration (CPIA®) recertification credit, if available for PRIM&R On Demand programs, can be found in the course description. Certificates of attendance can be obtained after the program has been viewed, on the same page where you accessed the program. If you viewed with a group, you can share the PDF certificate will your colleagues and they can fill it out with their names.

FAQ: PRIM&R On Demand Live Workshops

A half day costs $2000 for PRIM&R members and $2199 for nonmembers. A full day costs $3800 for PRIM&R members and $3999 for nonmembers (the membership status of the contact person coordinating the planning will determine the cost).

The host institution is responsible for running the virtual platform and can use whatever they are most comfortable with (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams). Shortly before the workshop date, the institutional contact, program speakers, and PRIM&R staff will meet to practice using the technology and make sure everyone is set for the day of the event.

There is no limit on the number of attendees, as long as they’re all affiliated with the same institutional location.

Once PRIM&R staff has discussed your program needs and found available speakers, we will set a meeting for the speaker(s), the institutional coordinator, and the PRIM&R staff member. This meeting will be used to tell the speakers more about the institution, the desired program content, and the audience, as well as plan logistical details. Otherwise, we will plan it with the institutional coordinator via email.

PRIM&R staff will send the institutional coordinator an evaluation survey to disseminate to all participants; the certificate of attendance can be downloaded upon completion of the survey. If you wish to provide CIP or CPIA recertification credit for the program, please reach out to PRIM&R staff to confirm that the program agenda is eligible.
