“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Hendricks-Sturrup—an engagement expert, researcher, and bioethicist—to PRIM&R’s Board of Directors,” said Elisa A. Hurley, PhD, executive director of PRIM&R. “With her addition to our Board leadership, PRIM&R is even better positioned to advocate for ethics, welfare, inclusion, and trust as central components to science, medicine, and research.”

Dr. Hendricks-Sturrup is the Research Director of Real-World Evidence at the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy in Washington. “It is with great enthusiasm and honor that I join the PRIM&R Board of Directors to work alongside a fantastic team of expert practitioners and thought leaders. I look forward to advancing PRIM&R’s mission to uphold the highest standard of ethics and responsibility within our constantly evolving landscape of medicine and research,” said Dr. Hendricks-Sturrup.

Dr. Hendricks-Sturrup received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Chicago State University, her Master’s in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Michigan State University, her Master’s in Legal Studies from the University of Illinois, and her Doctor of Health Science from Nova Southeastern University.
