Public Policy Research Ethics in Action

Public policy shapes how research is conducted—from protecting participants to ensuring scientific integrity.
PRIM&R plays a vital role in shaping ethical research policy by providing expert input, advocating for strong oversight, and educating the research community. We respond to proposed regulations, provide guidance on emerging ethical issues, and contribute to public discussions that influence research oversight. Our work helps ensure that policies governing research are practical, ethical, and in the best interests of science and society.

We have an important role to play in the policymaking process. If you submit a comment, feel free to reference PRIM&R’s analysis to strengthen your response.
