Blog Squad

About the Blog Squad

PRIM&R members who possess strong writing skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and an interest in sharing their thoughts on research ethics topics with their peers are invited to apply for PRIM&R's Blog Squad!

Members of the blog squad for a PRIM&R program share their insights from the program in the form of a series of blog posts in exchange for complimentary registration. These contributions are published on Ampersand, PRIM&R’s blog, and authors are encouraged to share their bylined posts with their boss, colleagues, friends, and family.

If you'd like to participate in the open Blog Squad opportunities listed below, please complete the online application (it's the same application for all).

Open Blog Squad Calls

Members of the Blog Squad for the 2022 PRIM&R Annual Conference (PRIMR22) will provide an insider's view of the conference by writing a series of posts in exchange for complimentary registration for PRIMR22.

This members-only opportunity is ideal for those who enjoy writing and would like to share their thoughts, reactions, and analysis with readers of Ampersand. Whether you work with IRBs, IACUCs, conflict of interest programs, or any other aspect of the research ethics and oversight field, there’s a place for you on the Blog Squad.

Time committment: Those selected for the blog squad will be responsible for writing three posts after the event.
Application deadline: September 16, 2022

In the application, you will be asked to provide a short biography, a statement of purpose, a photo of yourself to accompany your posts, and an introductory blog post. For your introductory post, you'll write about yourself and your experiences in the field, or about a current challenge or question you have in your day-to-day work that you hope to find answers for at PRIMR22. To explore what a blog post should look like, check out our blogging procedure, or browse through the Blog Squad tag on Ampersand!
