Public Policy
Guided by our Public Policy Committee, PRIM&R provides expert guidance and input on emerging policy issues.
Current Activity
Below, PRIM&R has consolidated a list of recent and upcoming public policy items and topics—many of which we respond to as part of our public policy work and commitment to research ethics. This list may include items from regulatory agencies, funding agencies, scientific academies, international organizations, etc., and may relate to IRB or IACUC operations, research ethics, research integrity, or other items of interest to our community. The list below is not intended to be exhaustive.
We have an important role to play in the policymaking process and your voice matters. We strongly encourage members of the research oversight community to be public policy actors by submitting comments on regulatory proposals affecting research. When making comments, you are welcome to cite or utilize PRIM&R’s policy comments. You can also check out our page on how to submit comments.
